What Others Are Saying

Children’s Pastor Sarah Bosen serves at Capital Church in the City in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from Evangel University with a degree in vocal music education, Sarah spent several years teaching in public and private schools and as a missionary in Senegal, Africa. She became a Children’s Pastor in early 2004. Sarah has had no formal Children’s Ministries training. When informed about the launch of CMUO, Pastor Sarah said, “I am excited about the opportunity to expand my knowledge of Children’s Ministries through online training.”

When I read about CMUO in the One Way Street News I thought it was a great idea. And now, after checking out the web site, I am thrilled about the potential. I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself and let you know that I am eagerly awaiting the new site and the whole program.

My name is Amy Harder. I’ve spent nearly 20 years involved in CM, including a couple years working with the Grubers in Springfield and several years working with One Way Street here in Colorado. But I never finished college. As a stay-at-home mother of preschoolers, I am excited about the opportunity
to get my degree online while studying something about which I am passionate.

Thanks for all you are doing!

This is an answered prayer. Can’t wait to get the info, prices, etc and, God willing, get started on my studies.

Sounds great. I would love to do something like this. I’ve been looking to get a degree but I have not been able to find something that specialized in Children’s Ministry. I can’t wait!

You are an answer to my prayers. I look forward to taking classes. Thank you and God bless you for answering the call.

I have been volunteering in children’s ministry for about six years, in two different churches.  Each church that I have volunteered at, I have felt slightly uncomfortable;  mainly because I have never had any formal ministry training. But now that I have heard about CMUO, through One Way Street, and even explored the website, I believe, if God wants me to continue with the children’s ministry, this will relieve all of my anxieties.  Plus it may allow me to lead my own children’s ministry; maybe even become a children’s pastor, eventually.  Overall, I believe that CMUO will be a blessing.  I can hardly wait to start the enrollment process and begin the program.

I have been able to actively apply the knowledge i have gained through this course in the children’s ministry that I am responsible for at my church. Having recently joined the staff at my church as the children’s pastor, I have found this course to be very helpful with techniques, tips and unique ways to demonstrate appreciation for fellow leaders and volunteers.
